RON & CAROL ARNOLD were inducted into the Western Carolina Square Dance Hall of Fame at the Federation’s annual Hall of Fame Dance held in Hendersonville on October 30th

Representing the Federation, Paul & Marge Christiansen presented Certificates to the Arnolds and Walkers in recognition of their outstanding commitment to the promotion and growth of Western Square Dancing in our area.

RON & CAROL ARNOLD’s commitments and dedication included:
• Dancing for 13-years, 8 years with Circle 8’s and 5 years with Southern Lights
• Served as Vice Presidents of the Federation for 4years
• Served as Presidents of Circle 8’s for 2 yrs and Vice Presidents/Class Managers of Southern Lights 2 years
• Served on numerous Committees, including: Student Recruiting, Clothing Sales, Publicity & Caller Scholarship
• Worked on the Education Committee at 56th National Convention in Charlotte
• Angeled at student classes with other clubs for 5 years
• Developed and helped raise funds for Scholarships to Caller School in Maggie Valley
